Why Choose Skate Canada Can PowerSkate?
Skate Canada's PowerSkate program is the gold standard in skating instruction. Trusted by some of the NHL’s top players like Nathan MacKinnon and Matt Duchene, this high-energy program offers:

  • Progressive skill development in power, speed, and technique.
  • Instruction by certified Skate Canada coaches.
  • A focus on skating techniques required for game situations.

Who Can Join?
We’re determining interest to finalize class details. If there’s enough demand, we may run separate groups:

  • Junior Power Skating (Ages 7+): Foundational skills such as crossovers, backward skating, edges, stops, and turns.
  • Senior Power Skating (Ages 10+): High-tempo sessions focused on advanced edges, quick transitions, and puck control.

What You Need to Know:

  • Full hockey gear, including helmet and stick, is required.
  • Skaters must have previous skating experience equivalent to CanSkate Stage 4 or higher. (see CanSkate Stages listed below)
