2024 Skate-a-thon

The Skate-a-thon serves as an optional activity for club members, aimed at raising funds for the club to support skater program development and equipment replacement.

Before the event

1. Set Your Goal: Skaters determine their desired number of laps (or skills like jumps, spins) to complete.
2. Get Donations: Skaters gather donations and collect funds.

Event day  (choose which day you want to participate)

1. Register: Visit Deb at the registration table to submit your pledge form and donation.
2. Skate: Achieve your lap goals or showcase skills like backwards skating and jumps.
3. Have Fun: Enjoy snacks and lively music during the event.

Put the FUN in FUNdraising with these top tips:

• Donate $25 to your child = $25
• Email 5 friends or family members asking for a $25 = $125
• Post on Social Media asking 5 followers to match your $25 donation = $125

Grand Prize: $50 Amazon gift certificate

Awarded to the skater with the highest donation collection, announced at the end of Saturday's skate.

Draw Prizes: $10 Bru-Go's Coffee gift cards

Your name is entered for every $10 raised, with winners selected during the event. Don't forget to see Deb at the registration table to check if you're a winner! 

Your generous donations will support skater program development and equipment replacement. Donation collection will be  facilitated at the registration table in the warm room, accepting cash, cheque or e-transfer to debbiemurphy58@outlook.com payments.
